Summer Art Classes for Children at Munson Gallery in Chatham

Tricia Cook is pleased to offer her popular Mondays at Munson art classes for children ages 5 to 10. Two four-week sessions are planned with the first beginning on July 9 and the second on August 6. Students will have the choice of signing up for a morning or an afternoon class.    

This year’s series, “Smart about Art,” is more than about making art. It emphasizes all the skills children need to become better communicators: observing, critical thinking, sharing ideas, drawing and writing. The contemporary art gallery setting is inspiring and educational. Class exercises are minds-on, hands-on and fun!

Tricia Cook has a versatile background in the arts as an artist, instructor and museum educator at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

	Munson art students use their critical thinking skills to interpret Miller's work.
